Marcus S. Swain

Mark Swain, age 65, of 651 Oak Avenue, Pinehurst, died Thursday, June 4, 2026, at his residence.

Mark was born in Vienna on June 13, 1960.  He had worked at Lanier Clothing and Frito Lay and enjoyed hunting arrowheads and using his creative skills.

He is survived by his sister, Tammy Stout; his niece, Brittany Gapp (Garrett); his nephew, Nicholas Stout; 3 great nephews; his friend, Gerald Micek.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Swain, his mother, Ruth Dupree Rodriguez and his brother, Len Swain.

Graveside services will be held at 2 pm Monday, June 8 in Pinehurst City Cemetery.  Rev. Mike Bowden will officiate.

Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Unadilla has charge of arrangements.
