Mable Johnson, age 88, of 790 Highway 118, Leslie, died Thursday, March 20, 2025, at her niece's residence in Leesburg.
Born in De Funiak Springs, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Waylon Henderson and Ivory Donna Boles Henderson and was the widow of Edward A. Johnson. Mrs. Johnson lived in Tampa for 20 years and was employed by the City of Tampa. Later, she moved to Crawfordville, Florida and worked as an accountant for the State of Florida. She was a Baptist and a member of the VFW.

Brothers: George Henderson of Andalusia, AL Buddy Pryer of De Funiak Springs, FL
Grandchildren: Sarita Sapp (Luke) of Crawfordville, FL Selena Williams of Crawfordville, FL
Great Grandchildren: 3
She is also survived by her nieces, who were also her caretakers, Melissa Morris of Leslie and Libby Hall of Leesburg.
She was preceded in death by her children, Gerald Johnson, Wailon Johnson and Krystal Johnson and her siblings, John Henderson, Albert Henderson, Pete Henderson, Hamp Henderson, Kenneth Henderson, Ronnie Henderson, Steve Henderson and Donna Henderson.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Monday, March 24 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home.
The interment will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, April 1 in the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
The family will greet friends 1 - 2 PM Monday, March 24 at the funeral home.
