Luthene Bush, age 69, of Orange Park, Florida, died Monday, February 2, 2009, at her residence.
Born in Unadilla, she was the daughter of the late Roy Scarborough and Alda Faulk Sacarborough and a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla. She was a Reporter and had worked for the Unadilla Observer, the Macon Telegraph, the Albany Herald, the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer and the Valdosta Daily Times.
She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda L. Calhoun (Bobby) of Orange Park, FL; sisters, Elgene Busby of Unadilla and Florice Peavy of Unadilla; grandchildren, Brad Calhoun of Orange Park, FL and Ashleigh Calhoun of Orange Park, FL.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, February 6 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Unadilla. Interment will follow in Walnut Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Thursday, February 5 at the funeral home.
