Ludie Mae Jordan, age 95, of Clewiston, Florida, died Friday, January 2, 2015, in Clewiston.
Born in Ashland, Alabama she was the daughter of the late William Golden and Emma Lee Richardson Golden. Ludie and her family moved from Ashland to Vienna, Georgia when she was a small child. She attended school in Vienna and graduated from college. She married Elbert Jordan on January 1, 1944. They moved to Clewiston in 1946 and started a family. She was a teacher in Georgia and for the Hendry County, Florida School Board for over 30 years, retiring in 1978. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Clewiston and the Clewiston Garden Club.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Orbrey Golden on September 1, 2002 and her husband, Elbert Jordan on March 23, 2005.
The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Tuesday, January 6 at Akin-Davis Funeral Home in Clewiston and 10 AM - 11 AM Friday, January 9 at Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM Friday, January 9 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna with interment in Vienna City Cemetery.
