Lucy W. Pope, age 79, of 1650 Oak Bin Road, Unadilla, died Sunday, August 10, 2008, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville.
Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late Emmett Wright and Susie Mason Wright. She was a seamstress and the widow of Jack Pope.
Survivors include:
Daughter: Julie Caldwell (Thomas) of Lizella
Sister: Agnes Pope of Unadilla
Brother: Harris Wright of Kathleen
Grandchildren: Jelisa Caldwell of Lizella
Sheena Caldwell of Lizella
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 12 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Unadilla. Rev. Kirby Whitehead will officiate and interment will follow in Walnut Cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 6 - 8 PM Monday, August 11 at the funeral home.
