Louise J. Bowen

Louise J. Bowen, age 94, of 1610 Pine Ridge Road, Pinehurst, died Thursday, January 14, 2015, at her daughter's home.

Born in Pinehurst, she was the daughter of the late Leon Joiner and Patricia Wilson Joiner. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and served as Tax Commissioner of Dooly County before her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Leon Bowen and her husband, Carl Bowen.

Funeral services will be at 3 PM Sunday, January 17 in Liberty Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.

The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Saturday, January 16 at the funeral home or may be contacted at the residence of Kay and Eugene Cason, 445 Tiger Road, Vienna.
