Lonnie W. Wise

Lonnie W. Wise, age 72, of 209 Church Street, Vienna, died Thursday, August 18, 2011 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.

Born in Turner County, he was the son of the late Ollie Wise and Era Lamb Wise. He served in the United States Air Force for 20 years and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Wise worked as a convenience store manager and was a member of Lilly Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. Lonnie was a dedicated family man.

Grandchildren: Kayla Black, Owen Black and Brianna Wise

Great Grandchild: Ansley Harper

He is also survived by his beloved pets, Buffy and Theo.

Funeral services will be at 3 PM Sunday, August 21 in Lilly Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with military honors.

The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Saturday, August 20 at the funeral home.
