Lonnie T. Davis, Jr

Lonnie T. Davis, Jr., age 63, of Ellenwood, Georgia, died Tuesday, August 28, 2007.

Born in Atlanta, he was the son of the late Lonnie T. Davis and Mary Ethelyn Cook Davis. He was a US Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War and a dock worker. Mr. Davis was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Stockbridge where he led the singing. He was a loving husband and father and known by his friends as "lawnmower man."

Wife: Linda B. Davis of Ellenwood

Son: Lonnie T. Davis, III (Penny) of Jackson, TN

Daughter: Kimberly Clark (Randy) of Forest Park

Brother: Richard Davis of Clayton

Sister: Ann Anderson (Keith) of College Park

Grandchildren: 3

Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 1 in Liberty Cemetery near Pinehurst.

The family will greet friends from 8 - 9:30 AM Saturday, September 1 at the funeral home.
