Born on November 4, 1966 in Savannah, Georgia, she earned her bachelor's degree in communications from the University of Alabama-Birmingham. She was a member of Orange Beach United Methodist Church and the manager of Sweet Repeats.

Her grandfather, J. W. Greer of Unadilla, preceded her in death.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 28 at First Baptist Church of Unadilla. Dr. Bob Murphy and Rev. Ernest Bass will officiate.
