Lillian R. Lewis, age 91, of Unadilla, died Monday, February 27, 2012, at Leisure Life in Unadilla.
Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late Van Ransom and Jessie Lee Peavy Ransom. She was a member of Unadilla United Methodist Church and the Martha Beulah Sunday School Class. Mrs. Lewis was the former owner/operator of Lewis Variety Store and the widow of Glenn Lewis.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Audrey Ransom of Unadilla and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM Thursday, March 1 in Unadilla United Methodist Church with interment in Walnut Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Wednesday, February 29 at the funeral home.
