Lesta H. Prater

Lesta H. Prater, age 88, of Perry, died Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at Summerhill Nursing Center in Perry.

Born in Muleshoe, Texas, she was the daughter of the late James Hargis and Cora Haley Hargis. She served in the Women's Army Corps during World War II and worked as a clerk for Holiday Inn. She loved her People magazines and CNN news, keeping up with all the current events.

Lesta has now been reunited with her precious son, Mike. When you look up and see the brightest star, that will be our little sassy ball of fire!

No services will be held but the family will greet friends 5 - 7 PM Saturday, May 31 at the residence, 1704 Tucker Road, Perry.
