Leita A. (Moore) Fowler

Leita A. Fowler, age 81, of Defiance, Missouri, died Saturday, September 7, 2024, at DePaul Hospital in Bridgeton, Missouri.

Born in Macon, she was the daughter of the late Vaude Lee Moore and Audrey Roberts Moore West.  She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church where her passion was serving in the church nursery.  Her husband, John Tyrone Fowler, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children, John Tyrone Fowler, Jr. and his wife, Jennifer, Karan Davis and her husband, Bill and Donna Fowler (Tom Williamson); her brother, Robbie Moore; her grandchildren, Christian Fowler, Catherine Fowler, Leita McLauren Fowler, John Tyrone Fowler, III, Eian Fowler, Marie Davis Morris and Audrey Davis.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Saturday, September 14 at Snow United Methodist Church with interment following at Bertha Dozier Memorial Park Cemetery in Montezuma.

The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Friday, September 13 at the funeral home.
