Leila E. Head, age 69, of Freeport, Florida, died Wednesday, December 31, 2003, in a Destin, Florida hospital.
Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late Lucious T. Etheridge and Aline Williams Etheridge. She was a retired Mold Operator with PlastiCan in Macon. She lived in Warner Robins for many years, prior to moving to Freeport three years ago, and was a member of Missonary Alliance Baptist Church. The widow of Robert T. Head, Sr., she was preceded in death by her grandson, William C. Barlow.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 3, 2004, in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Unadilla. Rev. Stewart-Allen Clark will officiate and burial will follow in Williams Cemetery.
The family will greet friends at the funeral home from 6 - 8 PM Friday, January 2.
