Marvin Lee Wiley, Jr. age 74, of 2130 Bowen Road, Pinehurst, died Friday, June 26, 2015, at his residence.
Born in Cordele, he was the son of the late Marvin Lee Wiley and Edith Culpepper Wiley. Lee graduated from Texas A & M University with a degree in agronomy. He was a banker and retired after 40 years, serving as president of numerous banks. After his retirement, he worked at Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home for several years.
Lee served in various capacities on several committees in his community, including serving as president of the Chamber of Commerce. He was an active member of Liberty Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and held many leadership positions.
While his accomplishments were many, Lee's greatest riches in life were his faith in God, his family and his friends. He was a faithful Christian, a loving husband to his wife of 50 years, a devoted father to his two children and a wonderful Pa Pa to his four grandchildren.

Son: Wayne Wiley (Gina) of Hawkinsville
Daughter: LeSan Kimbrough (Del) of Pinehurst

Dan Wiley (Gini) of Ellijay
Joel Wiley of Coolidge
Grandchildren: Kallie Kimbrough, Carson Wiley, Wiley Kimbrough and Gracen Wiley
He is also survived by his faithful companion, his dog, Buck.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM Monday, June 29 in Liberty Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.
The family will greet friends 4 - 5:30 PM Sunday, June 28 at the funeral home.
