Lee Harris, Jr

Lee Harris, Jr., age 36, of 3192 Dooly High Road, Vienna, died Saturday, June 23, 2012, at Doctors Hospital in Augusta.

Lee was born in Americus and was a member of Vienna First Baptist Church, a farmer and a member of the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department. He was also one of the original organizing members of State Bank & Trust in Pinehurst. He was past-president of the Dooly County Livestock Association and a founding board member of the Georgia Junior Livestock Association. Lee enjoyed helping kids get involved in livestock showing. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family, especially at livestock shows.

Daughter: Karson Harris of Vienna

Parents: Lee and Sharon Harris of Vienna

Brother: Ben Harris (Natalie) of Vienna

Grandmother: Joyce Moore of Vienna

Grandfather: Harvey L. Gilmore of Vienna

Niece: Avery Harris of Vienna

Funeral services will be at 11 AM Tuesday, June 26 in Vienna First Baptist Church with interment in Lane Cemetery.
