Laverne Bowen

Laverne Bowen, age 89, of 2715 Findlay Road, Pinehurst, died Monday, March 18, 2013, at Leisure Life in Unadilla.
Born in Pinehurst, she was the daughter of the late Oscar E. Bowen and Annie Porter Bowen. She worked as a program assistant with the FSA office for 40 years and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and served as church treasurer for 40 years.

A host of great nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM Thursday, March 21 in Liberty Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.
The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Wednesday, March 20 at the funeral home.
