Laura W. Robertson

Laura W. (Joiner) Robertson, age 79, of Unadilla, died Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at Coliseum Medical Center in Macon.

Born in Dodge County, she was the daughter of the late J. W. Witherington and Elizabeth Warren Witherington. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church, the WMU and had volunteered as a Pink Lady at Dooly Medical Center. Her husbands, Emmett Joiner and Henry Robertson preceded her in death.

Survivors include:
Daughters: Mary Jane Peavy (Donnie) of Unadilla
Charlene Hester of Unadilla

Step Daughter: Elaine Ellis of Americus

Brothers: Warren Witherington of Newnan
Maurice Witherington of Eastman

Grandchildren: Michelle Cook (Brad) of Macon
Michael Borum, Jr. of Atlanta

Great Grandchild: Carter William Cook of Macon

Step Grandchildren: 3

Step Great Grandchildren: 6

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, May 25 in Harmony Baptist Church with interment following in Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery.

The family will greet friends from 6 - 8 PM Thursday, May 24 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery Fund, 5925 Pinehurst-Hawkinsville Highway, Unadilla, Georgia 31091.
