Larry Mashburn

Larry Mashburn, age 77, of 349 Haslam Avenue, Pinehurst, died Sunday, August 18, 2024, at his residence.

Born in Vienna, he was the son of the late William Mashburn and Laverne Scarborough Mashburn.  Larry was the manager of Coley Farms.  He was a member of Pinehurst Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon.  Larry loved his family, especially his grandchildren but above all, he loved the Lord.

Survivors include: Sons: Larry Todd Mashburn (Skye) of Statesboro David Troy Mashburn (Jenna) of Pineview

Brother:  Wayne Mashburn (Sharon) of Cordele

Grandchildren: Ivey Elizabeth Mashburn (Tristian Hendrix) Alexandra Skye Mashburn William Troy Mashburn (Cassidy Little) Abby Mashburn Poitevint (Justin) Eliza Gail Mashburn Jaye Beth Womble Jude Womble

Mother-in-law:  Ruth Cason of Vienna

Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Larry was looking forward to the birth of his first great grandchild, Ellie Claire Poitevint

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Gail Cason Mashburn and Janelle Taylor Mashburn and his brother, Ricky Mashburn.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Wednesday, August 21 in Pinehurst Baptist Church.  Rev. Al Acosta and Rev. Freddy Hogg will officiate and interment will follow in Vienna City Cemetery.

The family will greet friends beginning at 9:30 am in the fellowship hall of Pinehurst Baptist Church.
