Lamar McCurdy, age 45, of 148 Sharon Church Road, Vienna, died Thursday, May 27, 2021, at his residence.

Born in Fitzgerald, he was the son of Mary Ann Wright and the late Herman McCurdy.  Lamar was a truck driver and loved farming.  His greatest love was his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include: Wife:  Brittany McCurdy of Vienna

Daughters: Katelyn McCurdy of Chula Devae McCurdy of Chula

Sons: Cody Gilliam of Cordele Christian Hunter Bruner of Chula

Step-daughters: Leanna Sills of Vienna Trinnade Sills of Vienna

Step-son:  Knoah Sills of Vienna

Mother:  Mary Ann Lamb of Glendora, NJ

Sister:  Kelly McCurdy of Ashburn

Brother:  Byron McCurdy of Ashburn

Step-brother:  Shannon Nixon of Ocilla

Grandchildren: Peyton McCurdy, Rayleigh Castleberry and Hunter Castleberry

Memorial services will be held at 3 PM Sunday, June 6 at F. I. S. H. Baptist Church in Seville.  Rev. Jody McGinnis will officiate.

The family will greet friends 3 - 5 PM Saturday, June 5 at the funeral home.

Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna has charge of arrangements.
