L. H. Coppedge, age 79, of 735 Coppedge Road, Vienna, died Tuesday, September 14, 2004, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, September 17 in Vienna United Methodist Church. Rev. Shane Green and Rev. Tommy Mason will officiate and burial will follow in Lane Cemetery.
Mr. Coppedge was born in Dooly County on December 20, 1924 to Lorenzo H. Coppedge and Mary Leona Grimes Coppedge. He was a member of Vienna UMC, the Fellowship Sunday School Class, served as church treasurer for 20 years and had perfect attendance at Sunday School for 43 years. He was a farmer, a rural mail carrier, a bus driver and served as court bailiff for Dooly County Superior Court.

Daughters: Kathy Garwood of Cordele
Mary Beth Coppedge of Lilly
Amy Rehberg of Coolidge
Grandchildren: 6
The family will be at the funeral home on Thursday, September 16 from 6 - 8 PM for visitation.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vienna UMC, 313 Church Street, Vienna, GA 31092.
