Rev. Keith Simmons

Rev. Keith Simmons, age 77, of 101 Lewis Mill Road, Vienna, died Monday, December 9 at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele.
Born in Wichita, Kansas, he was the son of the late Roy Gilbert Simmons and Doris Marie Weatherby Simmons. He earned his Bachelor's and Master of Theology degrees from the Texas Baptist Institute and Seminary in Henderson, Texas. He earned his Doctor of Divinity degree at West Florida Baptist Institute and later earned his Doctorate of Ministerial Endurance at Texas Baptist Institute and Seminary. Rev. Simmons pastored churches in Texas, Florida, Louisiana, Arkansas and Georgia. For the past 10 years, he served as pastor of Northside Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Fullen Simmons.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM Friday, December 13 at Northside Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will be held on Monday, December 16 at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens in Pensacola, Florida.
The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Thursday, December 12 at the funeral home.
