Kattie I. Brown, age 90, of 2895 Arena Road, Unadilla died Monday, June 24, 2013, at Pinewood Manor Nursing Home in Hawkinsville.
Born in Unadilla, she was the daughter of the late Sherry Lee Brown and Willie Quincy Cross Brown. She was a homemaker and a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her brother, Tommy J. Brown, her sister, Jimmie Lee Bridges and her great niece, Sherry Leigh Bridges.
Survivors include:
Brother: Cossie L. Brown of Unadilla
Niece: VeEsta Johnson of Unadilla
Nephew: P. L. Bridges (Patsy) of Unadilla
Great Nieces/Nephew: Cindy Dossett (Terry) of Unadilla, Pamela Bartlett and Allen Bartlett
Great Great Nieces/Nephews: Dorian Daughtry, Charlie Rae Gruber, Jamie Gruber, Chris Tyndal (Ashley), Paul Dossett and Alden Bartlett
Great Great Great Niece: McClendon Bridges Tyndal
Two other great great great nieces and one other great great great nephew also survive.
Graveside services will be at 2 PM Thursday, June 27 in Walnut Cemetery with Rev. Bruce Howland officiating.
The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Wednesday, June 26 at the funeral home.
