June Fretwell Thompson, age 71, of Perry, died Monday, May 29, 2006, at Serenity Gate in Perry.
Born in Houston County, she was the daughter of the late Bruce Fretwell and Mattie Wheelus Fretwell. She was a member of Byromville United Methodist Church, worked at Forest Mills in Montezuma and McGhee Carpet in Perry, owned and operated a daycare center and was preceded in death by a brother, Louie Fretwell.

Curt Fowler of Bonaire
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and by her little dog, Honey.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, May 31 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home. Dr. Tracy Brinson will officiate and interment will follow in Walnut Cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 7 - 9 PM Tuesday, May 30 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the building fund at Second Memorial Baptist Church, 1845 Kings Chapel Road, Perry, GA 31069.
