Julius A. Wright, Jr.

April 28, 1979 — August 9, 2021

Julius Asbury Wright Jr., a longtime resident of Unadilla, passed away on August 9, 2021, surrounded by family. As he was known to many in the area, Lil' Julius was born April 28, 1979, to Donna Cross Wright and the late Julius A. Wright.  Julius attended Hawkinsville High School before pursuing a sales career at Warner Robins Ford, where his outgoing personality and gift of gab ensured his success until answering our nation's call.

On April 20, 2004, Julius enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he served military assignments both home and abroad. As a Staff Sergeant, Julius engaged in multiple hostile operations throughout the Middle East and earned numerous achievement and commendation medals for his efforts.

After the Iraq and Afghanistan campaigns, he returned home with his wife Laci and children Jaxson and Jordan. He managed the sales operations team at The Floor Store in Warner Robins and later became co-owner of Xtreme BioClean Solutions in Unadilla, Ga.

Julius's love for sports fueled his passion for golf, deer hunting, skateboarding, baseball, and Nasty Boys softball, which he enjoyed with his closest friends. Memories shared on the golf course, in the woods, or on a diamond will be forever cherished. Also, as a Georgia Tech football fan, he and his son Jaxson endured countless years of heartache yet remained staunch supporters of the Yellow Jackets.

His unwavering love for family, country, and friends will always be remembered.
