Joseph P. Taylor

Joseph P. Taylor, age 86, of 1308 Lionel Avenue, Bluefield, WV, died Saturday, December 10, 2005.
Born in Jenkinjones, WV, he was the son of the late James Burton Taylor and Pearl Myers Taylor. He graduated from Georgetown College and received his masters degree from Western Kentucky University. Mr. Taylor was a retired school teacher and coach. He was a US Army veteran of WWII and a member of Vienna United Methodist Church. He and his wife, Elaine Hume Taylor, lived in Vienna for many years. Following her death in 1997, he moved to West Virginia to live near his brother and sister-in-law.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 14 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna. Rev. Shane Green will officiate and burial will follow in Vienna City Cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 6 - 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
