Johnnie L. Tarrer, Sr

Johnnie L. Tarrer, Sr. age 92, of Wynfield Park in Albany, died Monday, June 2, 2014, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany.

Born in Cordele, he was the son of the late Willie Henry Tarrer and Annie Mae Hickox Tarrer. Mr. Tarrer was a farmer, worked at Harris Press & Shear, worked for the City of Lilly and served on the Lilly City Council. He was a member of Lilly Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and led the music.

Donald Tarrer (Sandra) of Leesburg

John Hickox of Blakely
J. E. Hickox of Douglasville

Lee Ola Bartlett of Bridgeboro

Funeral services will be at 11 AM Thursday, June 5 in Lilly Baptist Church with interment in Lilly City Cemetery.

The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
