John F. Evans

John F. Evans, age 78 of Unadilla, died Saturday, February 2, 2008.

Born in Dooly County, he was the son of the late Sandy Floyd Evans and Eula Barron Evans. He was a US Navy veteran, a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla and the Charles Speight Sunday School Class. Mr. Evans retired from Robins Air Force Base and enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting.

Survivors include:
Wife: Frances R. Evans of Unadilla

Daughters: Kathy Adams (John "Larry") of Pelham
Debra Moak (Scott) of Pinehurst

Sons: Terry N. Evans (Wanda) of Marshallville
Keith Evans (Pam) of Cordele

Sister: Iva Nell Gibbs of Unadilla

Grandchildren: 7
Great Grandchildren: 3

Funeral services will be at 4:00 PM Monday, February 4 in First Baptist Church of Unadilla with interment following in Walnut Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 - 8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church, PO Box 250 Unadilla, GA 31091.
