John Robert Edalgo, Jr

John Robert Edalgo, Jr. age 88, of Cordele, died Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center in Dublin.

Born in Butts County, he was the son of the late John Robert Edalgo and Zula Tyson Edalgo. He was a US Army veteran of World War II and retired as a mechanic from the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany. He was a member of Northern Heights Baptist Church.

Joseph Neal Edalgo (Debbie) of Cordele
John Gary Edalgo of Cordele
Steve Eugene Edalgo (Jennie) of Cordele
David Barton Edalgo of Warner Robins

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Pauline Edalgo, his second wife, Evelyn Edalgo and his grandson, Paul Joseph Edalgo.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM Friday, May 13 in Northern Heights Baptist Church in Cordele with interment in Mars Hill Cemetery in Dooly County.

The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Thursday, May 12 at the funeral home.
