John W. Daniels, Jr.

John W. Daniels, Jr., age 60, of 502 West Avenue, Unadilla, died Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele.

Johnny was born in Vienna on January 23, 1961.  For the past 40-plus years, he worked for the Dooly County Public Works.  He loved collecting Hot Wheels, hunting arrowheads, antiques and collecting knives.  Johnny was a wonderful person with a big heart, loved kids and will be dearly missed by his family.

Survivors include: Sons: Kenneth Daniels of Cordele Jamie Daniels (Alissa Browning) of Vienna

Daughter:  Nicole Phillips (Nick) of Butler

Parents:  Bill and Ophelia Daniels of Unadilla

Step-Children: Tonya Sprague (D. J.) of Cordele Michael Summers (Marlana) of Arabi Heather Whitfield (James Pollock) of Arabi

Sisters: Rita Jones (David) of Unadilla Darla Collins of Unadilla

Grandchildren:  10

Graveside services will be held at 3 PM Monday, September 13 in Pinehurst City Cemetery.

Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Unadilla has charge of arrangements.
