John Allen Bryant

John Allen Bryant, age 60, of 4021 Highway 230 East Unadilla, died Tuesday, September 2, 2003, at his residence.<br><br>Born in Dooly County, he was the son of the late Floyd Bryant and Myrtle Layfield Bryant. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla, the Disciples Sunday School Class, the Unadilla Lions Club, a member of the Board of Directors of the Dooly County Farm Bureau, a Mason, a farmer and the owner of Bryant Farms & Greenhouses.<br><br>Survivors include:<br>Sons: John A. Bryant, Jr. of Unadilla<br>Jason Bryant of Fayetteville<br><br>Daughter: Alison Thomson of Hinesville<br><br>Sister: Dorothy Lockerman of Unadilla<br><br>Grandchildren: 3<br><br>Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, September 5 at First Baptist Church of Unadilla. Rev. Fred Swann and Rev. Stewart-Allen Clark will officiate and burial will follow in Snow Cemetery.<br><br>The family will greet friends from 7 - 9 PM Thursday, September 4 at the funeral home.<br><br>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Childrens Health Care of Atlanta Foundation, 1687 Tullie Circle, Atlanta, GA 30329.<br><br>Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Unadilla has charge of arrangements.<br><br>
