John Allen Bryant, age 60, of 4021 Highway 230 East Unadilla, died Tuesday, September 2, 2003, at his residence.
Born in Dooly County, he was the son of the late Floyd Bryant and Myrtle Layfield Bryant. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla, the Disciples Sunday School Class, the Unadilla Lions Club, a member of the Board of Directors of the Dooly County Farm Bureau, a Mason, a farmer and the owner of Bryant Farms & Greenhouses.
Survivors include:
Sons: John A. Bryant, Jr. of Unadilla
Jason Bryant of Fayetteville
Daughter: Alison Thomson of Hinesville
Sister: Dorothy Lockerman of Unadilla
Grandchildren: 3
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, September 5 at First Baptist Church of Unadilla. Rev. Fred Swann and Rev. Stewart-Allen Clark will officiate and burial will follow in Snow Cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 7 - 9 PM Thursday, September 4 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Childrens Health Care of Atlanta Foundation, 1687 Tullie Circle, Atlanta, GA 30329.
