John William "Bill" Scott, Jr.

John William "Bill" Scott, Jr., age 62, of 368 Highway 26 West, Elko, died Sunday, June 25, 2017, at his residence.
Born in Perry, he was the son of the late John William Scott and Mary Paul Scott. Bill was a member of Unadilla United Methodist Church and was a former chairman of the Administrative Board. He was a retired farmer and a Mason. Bill enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a loyal supporter of the Georgia Bulldogs. Above all, he was a loving husband and father.

Gerry Laine Busby of Unadilla
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM Wednesday, June 28 in Unadilla United Methodist Church. Rev. James D. Aycock, Jr. will officiate and interment will follow in Walnut Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Tuesday, June 27 at the funeral home.
