Joe J. Preston, Jr

Joe J. Preston, Jr., 91, of Unadilla, died Monday, May 2, 2016, at his residence.

Born in Hawkinsville, he was the son of the late Joe J. and Freddie E. Lassitter Preston. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II and retired from Robins Air Force Base. Joe was a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla, the Charles Speight Sunday School Class and served as a Deacon over 50 years.

Jeffrey Preston of Unadilla
Freddy Preston of Moreland

Grandchildren: 8
Great Grandchildren: 7

Funeral services will be at 11 AM Thursday, May 5 in First Baptist Church of Unadilla with interment in Walnut Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 - 8 PM Wednesday, May 4 at the funeral home.
