Joe Morgan, Jr.

Joe Morgan, Jr. age 90, of 1000 Applewood Drive, Roswell, died Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at North Fulton Hospital in Roswell.
Born in Vienna, he was the son of the late Joe Morgan and Lilly Godwin Morgan. Mr. Morgan was a United States Navy veteran of World War II, retired from Watkins Motor Lines and a member of Vienna First Baptist Church. Mr. Morgan was an avid hunter and in November of 1985, he killed a Boone and Crockett buck which remains the highest scoring typical buck in Dooly County and was the second highest scoring typical buck in Georgia. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Great Grandchildren: 5
His daughter, Betty Morgan Gore, preceded him in death.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, July 29 in Vienna City Cemetery with Dr. J. W. Wallis officiating.
The family will greet friends following the service.
