Joann B. (Blackmon) Rumney

Joann B. Rumney, age 78, of Forsyth, died Friday, January 4, 2019, at the Medical Center-Navicent Health in Macon.

Born in Unadilla, she was the daughter of the late Claude Blackmon and Ruth Powell Blackmon.  She was a homemaker, a loving wife, a devoted mother to her four children.  She was preceded in death by her three sisters, one brother and her son, Timothy M. Everidge.

Survivors include: Husband:  Donald Rumney of Forsyth

Son:  Glenn Everidge of Warner Robins

Daughters: Wendy Cape of Vienna Lori Hagen of Ormond Beach, FL

Step-Children: Donald Rumney, Jr. of Fort Myers Beach, FL Donna Rumney of Byron

Grandchildren:  Haley, Chasity, Jeremy, Jonathan, Trey, Jared and Dakota

Great Grandchildren:  Hunter, Caleb and Caroline

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Monday, January 7 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna.

The family will greet friends 10 - 11 AM Monday, January 7 at the funeral home and may be contacted at the residence of Wendy Cape, 607 Lewis Mill Road, Vienna.
