Jimmy Wilkes, age 54, of 740 Godwin Road, Vienna, died Tuesday, December 21, 2010.
Jimmy was born in Cordele and was known around the area for his construction work. He was a Methodist and loved deer hunting.

Son: Chris Wilkes (Michelle) of Montezuma
Daughter: Casie Nichols (Ricky) of Cordele
Parents: Charley and Sallie Wilkes of Vienna
Sister: Gail Clements (Ricky) of Vienna
Brothers: Wayne Wilkes of Vienna
Roger Wilkes (Judy) of Vienna
Grandchildren: Ricky Nichols, Jr. and Colby Lee Nichols
Funeral services will be at 11 AM Thursday, December 23 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna. Interment will follow in Oliver Cemetery near Byromville.
The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Wednesday, December 22 at the funeral home.
Memorial gifts may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
The family requests everyone attending the funeral dress casual.
