Jimmie L. Bridges

Jimmie L. Bridges, age 90, of 2734 Posey Road, Unadilla, died Wednesday, February 28, 2007, at Pinewood Manor Nursing Home in Hawkinsville.
Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late Sherry L. Brown and Quincy Cross Brown. She was a homemaker and a member of Double Branch Freewill Baptist Church. Mrs. Bridges enjoyed gardening and fishing, but her true love was taking care of her family and friends, especially cooking for them.

Brother: Cossie L. Brown (Annette) of Unadilla
Grandchild: Cindy Dossett (Terry) of Unadilla
Great Grandchildren: Chris Tyndal of Atlanta
Paul Dossett of Unadilla
Niece: Veesta Johnson (R. J.) of Unadilla
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry D. Bridges and by her granddaughter, Sherry L. Bridges.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 2 at Walnut Cemetery in Unadilla. Rev. Stewart-Allen Clark will officiate.
The family will greet friends from 6 - 8 PM Thursday, March 1 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the building fund of Double Branch Freewill Baptist Church, Route One, Box 2960 Unadilla, Georgia 31091.
