Jessie R. Johnson

Jessie Ray "Bud" Johnson, age 85, of 22185 South Oaks Road, Byromville, died Saturday, December 5, 2009, at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele.

Born in Dooly County, he was the son of the late George W. Johnson and Kate Patrick Johnson. He was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, a Farmer and had worked for 20 years with Dooly County Public Works. Bud enjoyed fishing and dogs.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM Tuesday, December 8 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna with interment in Johnson Cemetery near Byromville.

The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Monday, December 7 at the funeral home.
