Jennifer Nicole Kent, age 17, of 3435 Nellieville Road, Pinehurst, died Friday, March 5, 2004.
Born in Americus, she was a member of Byromville Baptist Church and was a junior at Fullington Academy. Jennifer loved sports and played tennis, softball and basketball at Fullington. She was also on the track team. The basketball teams she played on finished this season as runner-up in the region and won the region championship the past three seasons. She won the award for best defensive player on the basketball team this, the award for best offensive player on the softball team this year and was the MVP of the track team. In addition to her academic and athletic accomplishments, she enjoyed working as a tutor in the Learning Center.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, March 7 in Byromville Baptist Church. Rev. Dennis Phillips and Rev. Freddy Hogg will officiate and burial will be in Forehand Cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 6 - 8 PM Saturday, March 6 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Byromville Baptist Church, 713 Patterson Street, Byromville, GA 31007 or to Fullington Academy, PO Drawer B, Pinehurst, GA 31070.
