Jeff Davis, Sr.

Jeffrey Ed "Jeff" Davis, Sr., age 77, passed away, Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at home with his wife of 56 years, Donna by his side.

Jeff was born in Jasper, Alabama on November 25, 1948.  He moved with his family to Eastman, Georgia the summer before he started high school and he graduated from Dodge County High School in 1967.  Then, he attended South Georgia Technical College in Americus where he  graduated in 1969 with a degree in electronics.  After college, he was hired by Southern Bell and retired in August, 2003 from Bell South.  In retirement, he enjoyed fishing, playing golf and going to the motocross races as long as his health permitted.  He was a member of Vienna Methodist Church and a Mason.

Survivors include his wife, Donna P. Davis; his son, Eddie Davis (Nicole); his daughters, Mandy Blalock (Will) and Casie Davis; his sister, Dedra Lee; his grandsons, Ayden Davis and Davis Blalock; his nephews, Ron Lee and Todd Lee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Verlene B. Holton and W. D. Davis and his sister, Barbara D. Smith.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Friday, June 5 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home.  Interment will be at 4 pm Friday, June 5 at Orphans Cemetery in Eastman.
