Jean P. Briggs, age 74, of 932 SW McComb Avenue, Port St. Lucie, Florida, died Monday, May 19, 2008.
Born in Macon, she was the daughter of the late Ralph C. Potts and Carolyn McGahee Potts. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Vienna, TOPS and the Elks Club. Mrs. Briggs enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening and creating flower arrangments. She worked at Crisp County Middle Schoo where she was SASI Operator and a bookkeeper.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 1, 2008, at the Chapel of Amazing Grace, located off Highway 90 at mile marker 7, west of Vienna. Rev. Roy Gibbs will officiate.
The family will greet friends from 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM Sunday, June 1 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society, c/o Laura Woodward, 505 Old Americus Road, Vienna, Georgia 31092.
