Janice M. Ray

Janice M. Ray, age 47, of 1450 Lambtown Road, Vienna, died Friday, January 7, 2005, at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele.

Born in Cordele, she was the daughter of the late Robert Smith and Christine Newman Smith. She was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, a homemaker and had worked as the assistant manager of Dollar Tree in Cordele.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 9 in Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Rev. Billy Forrest and Rev. Jimmy Gauthier will officiate and interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Saturday, January 8 from 6 - 8 PM or may be contacted at 1450 Lambtown Road.
