James C. Hudson, Jr.

James C. Hudson, Jr., age 89, of 9055 Highway 230 West, Unadilla, died Thursday, May 28, 2020, at his residence.

Born in Tampa, Florida, he was the son of the late James Corbitt Hudson and Margaret Sullivan Hudson.  Jimmie served in the United States Army during the Korean War.  He later worked at Robins Air Force Base and was also a farmer.  Jimmie was an excellent carpenter.  Not only did he build his own house but he also built houses for his daughter, son and granddaughter.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Roselyn Dukes Hudson.

Survivors include: Daughter:  Jan Fullington (David) of Unadilla

Son:  Ricky Hudson (Lorrie) of Unadilla

Grandchildren: Thad Fullington (Melissa) of Pinehurst Melissa Brannen (Rodney) of Unadilla Madalyn Hudson of Unadilla Caleb Hudson of Unadilla

Great Grandchildren: Morgan Scott of Unadilla Christine Fullington of Pinehurst Jenna Scott of Unadilla Thomas Scott of Unadilla Lisa Fullington of Pinehurst

A private graveside service for the immediate family only will be held at 4 PM Friday, May 29 at Walnut Cemetery in Unadilla.  Rev. Don Combs will officiate.

The service will be live-streamed on the funeral home Facebook page.
