James D. Dupree

James D. Dupree, age 82, of 512 Railroad Street, Unadilla, died Tuesday, October 5, 2010, at his residence.

Born in Dooly County, he was the son of the late L. J. Dupree and Lida Davis Dupree. He retired from Blue Bird, was a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla and the Charles Speight Sunday School Class. Mr. Dupree was a former Unadilla City Councilman.

He was preceded in death by a son, Lamar Dupree and his wife, Minnie Jean Dupree.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM Friday, October 8 in First Baptist Church of Unadilla. Rev. Chad Massey will officiate and interment will follow in Walnut Cemetery.

The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Thursday, October 7 at the funeral home.
