James B. Coppedge, Jr.

James B. "Jimmy" Coppedge, Jr. age 69, of 675 Bryant Road, Vienna, died Sunday, July 17, 2022, at his residence.

Born in Vienna, he was the son of the late James B. Coppedge and Clara Sue Crosby Coppedge Tarrer.  Jimmy was a farmer and he loved working with his hands,  He enjoyed fixing things and making clocks.  He also enjoyed making toys and decorating for his favorite time of the year, Christmas.  His favorite thing to do was cutting grass.  Jimmy was a member of Christian Home Baptist Church.

Survivors include: Wife:  Patricia Coppedge of Vienna

Children: Trina Coppedge of Cordele James B. Coppedge, III of Cordele Lynn McElmurray (Keith) of Unadilla Fran Sinyard (Ronald) of Unadilla Valorie Watson of Unadilla

Sister:  Beverly Sheffield (Eddie Beecher) of Rochelle

Brother:  Howard Coppedge (Wanda) of Vienna

Grandchildren:  9

Great Grandchildren:  7

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jackie Kersey.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Thursday, July 21 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home with Rev. David Clark and Rev. David Barton officiating.  Interment will follow in the Vienna City Cemetery.

The family will greet friends 6 - 8 pm Wednesday, July 20 at the funeral home.
