James Clark Bowen, Sr

James Clark Bowen, Sr., of 455 Tharpe Road, Unadilla, died Monday, February 17, 2003, at his residence.

Born in Lumpkin, Georgia, he was the son of the late Clark Bowen and Elsie Harris Bowen. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla and the Disciples Sunday School Class. He worked in electronics at Robins Air Force Base.

Wife: Alice 'Puddin' Bowen of Unadilla
Son: James Clark Bowen, Jr. (Andrea) of Americus
Sister: Patricia Bowen Byrd (Russell) of Warner Robins
Grandchildren: Sam Bowen of Americus
Will Bowen of Americus

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, February 20 at First Baptist Church of Unadilla. Dr. Bob Murphy and Rev. Fred Swann will officiate and burial will follow in Walnut Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 - 9 PM Wednesday, February 19 at the funeral home.
