James L. Arflin

James L. Arflin, age 74, of 1030 Indian Boundary Road, Pinehurst, died Friday, March 1, 2013, at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta.
Born in Unadilla, he was the son of the late Worth Arflin and Mildred Gignilliat Arflin. He retired from Robins Air Force Base and was a member of Midway Independent Methodist Church. Mr. Arflin loved fishing and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include:
Wife: Elaine F. Arflin of Pinehurst
Daughter: Sandra Herndon (Ken) of Pinehurst
Son: Jamie Arflin (Taylor Withrow) of Warner Robins
Sister: Peggy Arflin of Rockwood, TN
Grandchildren: Nicole Herndon, Casey Herndon and Kiley Arflin.
His daughter, Joan Basham, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be at 3 PM Sunday in Pinehurst Baptist Church with interment in Pinehurst City Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6 - 8 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
