Jacob L. Roberts, Iii

Jacob L. 'Lev' Roberts, III, age 59, of 4416 East Port Boulevard, died Sunday, February 3, 2003, at his residence.

Born in Macon, Georgia, he was the son of the late Jacob L. Roberts, Jr. and Helen Joiner Roberts. He was retired from Lucent Technologies and was a member of Pinehurst United Methodist Church. Mr. Roberts enjoyed shag dancing and was a member of the Shag Dancing Clubs of Atlanta, Georgia and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Son: Brad Roberts of Orlando, Florida
Sister: Blanche Stephens of Pinehurst
Brother: Tommy Swain of Pinehurst

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 8 at Pinehurst United Methodist Church in Pinehurst, Georgia. Rev. Ernest Bass will officiate and burial will follow in Pinehurst City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 - 8 PM Friday, February 7 at the funeral home.
