Jack Smith, age 71, of 4559 Forest Chapel Road, Pinehurst, died Sunday, December 18, 2005, in an Albany hospital.
Born in Dooly County, he was the son of the late John Sid Smith and Bunie Bowden Smith. He was a Methodist and was a farmer.
Survivors include:
Sister: Jean Kent (Thomas) of Pinehurst
Brothers: Lamar Smith (Marion) of Pinehurst
Jady Smith (Ellen) of Pinehurst
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 20 in Forehand Cemetery with Rev. George A. Nelson officiating.
The family will greet friends from 7 - 9 PM Monday, December 19 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Lung Association, 61 Broadway, 6th Floor, New York, NY 10006.
Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Unadilla has charge of arrangements.
