Jack Jackson, age 74, of Buck Creek Road, Hawkinsville, died Tuesday, May 9, 2006, at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center in Dublin.
He was a native of Dooly County, a US Army veteran of the Korean War and retired from Southern Granite and Clark Memorials in Macon where he was a cemetery monument erector.
Survivors include:
Wife: Helen R. Jackson of Hawkinsville
Daughters: Patsy J. Califf of Gray
Gail Jackson of West Palm Beach, FL
Betty Todd of Zebulon
Sons: Randy Jackson of Hawkinsville
Bobby Jackson of Hawkinsville
Grandchildren: 4
Great Grandchildren: 3
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, May 12 at Walnut Cemetery in Unadilla.
The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Friday, May 12 from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 225 North Michigan Avenue 17th Floor, Chicago, IL 60601-7633 or to American Diabetes Association, PO Box 2680 North Canton, OH 44720.
Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Unadilla has charge of arrangements.
