Jake Byrom Bragg, Jr., age 88 of 209 North Fourth Street, Vienna, died Wednesday December 25, 2002, at his residence.
Born in Dooly County, he was the son of the late Jake Byrom Bragg and Minnie Goodman Bragg. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Vienna, attended the Caleb Sunday School Class and was a Mason. He had previously worked for Brannen Chevrolet, The Vienna News and Robins Air Force Base. He served in the Civilian Conservation Corps and retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation after 34 years of service.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 27 at First Baptist Church of Vienna. Rev. Jamey Hunt and Jason Holt will officiate and pallbearers will be Bob Bragg, Tim Bragg, Jason Holt, Roc Hayslip, Jeff Broadaway and Justin Bragg. Honorary Pallbearers will be Angie Gardner, Teressa Lowery, Dan Carr, Joel Fokes, Jacob Bragg, Jake Gregory, Shannon Akin, Perry Judge, Brandon Lowery, Michael Bragg, Lindsey Bragg, Tiffany Bragg, Amanda Bragg, Kristy Lowery, Jennifer Bostic, Joe Bostic and members of the Caleb Sunday School Class of First Baptist Church of Vienna. Interment will follow in the Seville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM Thursday, December 26 at Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna.
